EPL DFS Goalies

Aaron Ramsdale - DK $5.5K || FD $12

Opponent - vs. Tottenham Hotspurs

It wasn’t Tottenham Hotspurs, but Aaron Ramsdale looked comfortable between the sticks in his second appearance and first start of the season, in the 4-1 win at Hill Dickinson Stadium. He made one save and conceded one goal. He has made two saves and conceded three goals in two appearances this season, including one start.

He does hold some concern, though. Tottenham, over their last five domestic matches, look entirely out of sorts, and the numbers don’t lie. They are currently the worst in Shots Per 90 and seventh-worst in Goals Per 90. It will be imperative for Ramsdale not to concede. If he does, he will still have the opportunity to maintain value, but his ceiling performance may not be reachable.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Gianluigi Donnarumma (DK $5.8K || FD $13) at Fulham FC
  • Jordan Pickford (DK $4.2K || FD $10) at AFC Bournemouth

EPL DFS Forwards

Thierno Barry - DK $3.8K || FD $12

Opponent - at AFC Bournemouth

Thierno Barry may be in line for his fifth straight start in his last six matches. The youngster has produced seven shots, one chance created, one interception, and four clearances in the last five domestic matches, starting in four of them. He has yet to score his first goal of the season, despite showing promising signs and a big jump in on-the-ball production.

Luckily, the Cherries are struggling in the net. Đorđe Petrović has conceded 12 goals in his last five domestic starts. He has also made 15 saves. That is 27 Shots on Target Bournemouth has conceded in the last five fixtures. A leaky defense and an improving striker makes the optimal play. Barry’s salary also helps stack the slate favourites, Manchester City.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Erling Haaland (DK $11K || FD $24) at Fulham FC
  • Nick Woltemade (DK $6.9K || FD $20) vs. Tottenham Hotspurs

EPL DFS Midfielders

Jack Grealish - DK $7.6K || FD $19

Opponent - at AFC Bournemouth

Speaking of Toffee players, Jack Grealish can offer value today on this small slate. The versatile winger has produced three shots, eight chances created, 11 crosses, two corners, five tackles, three interceptions, six clearances, and one block over his last five domestic fixtures. His role for Everton today will depend on whether his teammate and midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (DK $8.8K || FD $18) starts or not. Nevertheless, Grealish provides open-play value whether he is on set pieces or not.

As mentioned above, AFC Bournemouth has performed below league average in their last five matchweeks. From a Per 90 Against viewpoint, they are the worst in Goals, the third-worst in Shots, and they are bottom-five in Chances Created, In-the-Bos Shots, In-the-Box Goals, and Penalty Area Defense. Grealish is one of many Everton players who could exceed value today.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Harvey Barnes (DK $8.8K || FD $17) vs. Tottenham Hotspurs
  • Phil Foden (DK $8.6K || FD $22) at Fulham FC

EPL DFS Defenders

Defenders

Destiny Udogie - DK $3.2K || FD $9

Opponent - at Newcastle United

Lastly is Tottneham wingback Destiny Udogie. Throughout his most recent five appearances in all competitions–three starts–he has amassed one assist, two shots, six chances created, two crosses, six tackles, three interceptions, four clearances, and one block.

He is projected to start on the left side today and would be relied on at both ends of the pitch. For his salary and a potential full 90 minutes of performance, Udogie has the potential to soar past his value.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Tino Livramento (DK $4.7K || FD $11) vs. Tottenham Hotspurs
  • Josko Gvardiol (DK $3.5K || FD $13) at Fulham FC

Corner Takers

  • AFC Bournemouth: Alex Scott/Marcus Tavernier
  • Everton: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall/Jack Grealish
  • Fulham FC: Sasa Lukic/Harry Wilson
  • Manchester City FC: Phil Foden/Rayan Cherki
  • Newcastle United: Sandro Tonali/Lewis Hall
  • Tottenham Hotspurs: Mohammed Kudus

Thanks for reading The Kick-Off. Good luck in all of your contests today!
