DraftKings NCAA Tournament CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 3/16/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Keegan Murray daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 3/16/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

It's finally here! The greatest four days in any sport in the universe starts today, and DraftKings has all 16 games on one giant slate. It's going to take creative roster building and hitting the right small-school stars to get a takedown here.

Late swap will be critical here since we have roughly 14 hours of basketball today. This isn't NBA basketball, folks. It's all enjoyable and everyone wants to be here. This slate will not be marred by tanking!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/16/23, starting at 12:15 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Max Abmas, Oral Roberts ($9,900)

Abmas played every minute in all three games of Oral Roberts' run through the 2021 NCAA Tournament, scoring 80 points in those three games with 14 assists and nine rebounds. He came back to Oral Roberts with dreams of another NCAA Tournament run, but the Golden Eagles were bounced by North Dakota State in the Summit League Tournament. This is what Abmas has been waiting on for two long years. Whatever happens, expect him to put on a show again.

Marcus Shaver, Boise State ($7,300)

Shaver had a few big games in the Mountain West Tournament, putting up 103.75 DraftKings points in the three games. He went cold from the floor at the end of March, but it seemed like Shaver found his shot again. He also found 23 rebounds, 13 assists, and five steals, so even if his shot goes cold again, the peripherals should keep us afloat. Northwestern lost four of their last five games. This is a winnable game for Boise if Shaver is on again.

Brooks Barnhizer, Northwestern ($6,100)

Barnhizer has been the only consistent Northwestern shooter for the better part of a month now. He has at least 33 DraftKings points in all three February games, including back-to-back double-doubles in the Big Ten(14) Tournament. I am a little worried that if the other Northwestern guards get going again that it will take away from Barnhizer, but it has been so long since that happened that his being the focal point of the offense might be the new normal.

JP Pegues, Furman ($5,400)

Pegues has scored in double figures in every game since a February 11 blowout win over Western Carolina where he didn't really need to shoot. Pegues provides great rebounding skills for a guard and is a good passer. His defensive stats aren't going to mean much against a team like Virginia, but I still think he'll be able to score on the Hoos. Furman has at least 30 DraftKings points in five straight games. I won't bit a bit surprised if he makes it six.

Also consider: Wade Taylor IV, Texas A&M ($8,700); D'Moi Hodge, Missouri ($8,300); Santiago Vescovi, Tennessee ($7,800); Anthony Black, Arkansas ($7,400); Sir'Jabari Rice, Texas ($6,900); Dexter Dennis, Texas A&M ($6,000); Deandre Gholston, Missouri ($4,900); Chibuzo Agbo, Boise State ($4,800); Don Carey, Maryland ($4,200); Marcus Dockery, Howard ($3,600)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Kris Murray, Iowa ($9,400)

Murray has scored at least 17 points in four straight games with at least six rebounds per game in that span as well. If Iowa is going to win this game, they are going to need a huge game from Murray. He's one of the few guys on the entire slate with 60 DraftKings points upside and is the only one playing in a game that should remain close enough for him to play big minutes.

Jordan Brown, Louisiana ($8,400)

Brown is the main reason that the Cajuns are a favorite to topple the Vols. He is a walking double-double, accomplishing that feat in five of the last six games. Tennessee isn't that big up front and they haven't really shown a willingness to play Tobe Awaka more. Games like this aren't new to Brown. He previously played at both Nevada and Arizona. This stage shouldn't be too big for him, and this is about as good of a matchup as he could hope for.

Charles Bediako, Alabama ($4,800)

Bediako was a wrecking ball in the SEC Tournament, racking up 96.5 DraftKings points in just 70 minutes over the three games. His price has been very slow to come around. I expect Bediako to put up big numbers in smaller minutes again here. He has only missed nine shots from the field in the last month combined! How's that for efficiency?

Shy Odom, Howard ($4,300)

Kansas doesn't have a ton of size in the middle like they usually do, so I could see Odom having some success in the middle for the Bison. Odom is a very efficient shooter and really good on the boards. We're not asking for a miracle at this price. We just want around 20 DraftKings points, a mark that Odom has topped in 10 of the last 12 games.

Also consider: Brandon Miller, Alabama ($10,200); Jalen Wilson, Kansas ($9,300); Connor Vanover, Oral Roberts ($8,200); Ante Brzovic, Charleston ($7,400); Dan Akin, Utah State ($6,000); Jaedon LeDee, San Diego State ($5,300); Julius Marble, Texas A&M ($4,500); Aguek Arop, San Diego State ($4,200);
