DraftKings College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks for 2/12/22 - CBB Daily Fantasy Advice

TyTy Washington Jr. CBB DFS lineup picks NCAA daily fantasy college basketball

We have another big slate with 12 games on the main slate today. We have a huge 11-game afternoon slate as well. It's going to be a big day of college basketball! I'm going to cover both of them again today and see what we get out of that. We begin at noon with A&M heading to Auburn, Arkansas heading to Tuscaloosa, and Texas heading up I-35 to Waco. An hour later we have Oklahoma at the Phog and Villanova hosting Seton Hall. An hour after that we have Georgia hosting South Carolina, Wisconsin hosting Rutgers, North Carolina welcoming Florida State to the Dean Dome, and Oklahoma State bringing in West Virginia to Gallagher-Iba. Miami tips in Winston-Salem an hour after that. We finish off the main slate with Indiana at Michigan State and Houston hosting Memphis.

The afternoon slate starts at 4 Eastern with Kentucky hosting Florida, Iowa State hosting Kansas State, and Texas Tech welcoming TCU. A half-hour later, Marquette and Butler get in on the action. Duke heads up Chestnut Hill at 5pm Eastern. At 6 we have Tennessee hosting Vandy, Michigan hosting Ohio State, Virginia Tech hosting Syracuse, and Washington hosting Arizona. Providence welcomes in DePaul a half hour later. We close this off with Clemson hosting the Irish. This is going to be another great day of college basketball.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/12/22 starting at noon Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Early Slate:

Alondes Williams, Wake Forest ($9,600)

The Oklahoma transfer has been a good place to start on just about every slate this season. The usage rate is high, he's a good scorer, and he contributes in every category except blocks. Williams has at least 38 DraftKings points in six of the last seven games and he went over the mark against Miami in the first meeting back on New Year's Day. This promises to be another high-scoring affair (176 points were scored in the first meeting), so there is a lot of fantasy goodness in this game.

JD Notae, Arkansas ($8,200)

Notae has been the engine driving the Hogs all year long. They're not afraid to get up-and-down the court, which will serve them well against the fast-paced Tide. Notae has topped 50 DraftKings points twice in the last three games. Both of those were up-tempo affairs against Georgia and Auburn. He struggled (but still managed 33 DraftKings points despite a 4-for-16 shooting night) against Mississippi State in the slower-paced game. Notae still has the best ceiling on the main slate.

Kario Oquendo, Georgia ($6,500)

After hitting rock bottom against South Carolina on January 22, Oquendo has 144.5 DraftKings points over the last five games. 81.25 of those have come in the last two games where the Bulldogs have hung with both Auburn and Florida. This team is playing better of late, including a win over Alabama the weekend after that embarrassing loss to the Gamecocks. This is a winnable game for Georgia and a redemption game for Oquendo in particular. I expect him to show up today.

Christian Bishop, Texas ($4,800)

The Longhorns are stacked up front, but the Creighton transfer is finally starting to separate himself from the pack. Bishop has played 55 minutes over the last two games and has three straight games over 23 DraftKings points. It was all against good competition in Texas Tech, Kansas, and Iowa State. Baylor presents a whole new set of problems, but Texas likes to ugly up the game and Bishop doesn't rely on scoring to hit value. He is a beast on the boards and a strong defender, so his floor feels safe to me for a value pick.

Also consider: Jaden Shackelford, Alabama ($8,400); Jamal Shead, Houston ($7,400); Xavier Johnson, Indiana ($7,000); JD Davison, Alabama ($6,400); Jordan Goldwire, Oklahoma ($5,800); Alex Lomax, Memphis ($5,000); Cam'Ron Fletcher, Florida State ($3,700)

Afternoon Slate:

Terrell Brown, Washington ($9,400)

I keep expecting Brown to slow down, but it's not happening, even in the tougher matchups. Brown has at least 35 DraftKings points in five straight and seven of the last eight games. He's carrying the Huskies right now, contributing in every category. He put up 56.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting against Arizona in only 32 minutes. He should be able to at least flirt with 50 again. That kind of ceiling is worth paying for.

Nijel Pack, Kansas State ($7,500)

I've been slow to come around on Pack because the beginning of his hot streak came against Ole Miss and Oklahoma State. Solid teams, but not like most of the defenses in the Big 12(10). When Pack not only kept his streak of 34+ DraftKings point games going against TCU and Baylor, but exceeded them, I'm taking notice. Pack has become one of the best scorers in a conference full of great defensive teams. If he can put up 44.75 DraftKings points against a team like Baylor, there's no reason not to use him against a solid Iowa State squad.

Dalen Terry, Arizona ($6,100)

The first Washington-Arizona tilt was a DFS gold mine, yielding 174 points and several guys that blew past 30 DraftKings points. Terry was one of those. He put up 42.25 in that game and finished two assists shy of a triple-double. He has at least 28 DraftKings points in three of the last four. The only one in which he fell short was against USC when he had to leave the game for a while after bumping knees against USC. Terry has nice potential in this price range.

P.J. Fuller, Washington ($4,600)

If Daejon Davis is still out with a shoulder injury, Fuller is going to draw another start. He has 49 DraftKings points in 64 minutes over the last two games after Davis went down early against Stanford. If Davis is able to play, I'll likely try to move up to Storm Murphy or down to Greg Elliot. Neither one is as safe as Fuller if he starts. I get the feeling that Davis will sit. Just make sure  you have a plan and time to adjust if you go with Fuller and Davis plays.

Also consider: Scotty Pippen Jr., Vanderbilt ($8,700); PJ Hall, Clemson ($8,000); Blake Wesley, Notre Dame ($6,800); Eli Brooks, Michigan ($6,100); Zakai Zeigler, Tennessee ($5,800); Cormac Ryan, Notre Dame ($4,300)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Early Slate:

Walker Kessler, Auburn ($9,100)

Auburn struggled against Georgia before losing to Arkansas this week, but you can't blame Kessler. He had 85 DraftKings points in those two games. Kessler has topped the 50-point threshold twice in the last three games. The Tigers still score in bunches and Kessler remains one of the best defensive forces in the game. He has 40 rebounds and 19 blocks in the last three games. 19 BLOCKS! That's more than Mos Def had to go with Bruce Willis! Kessler's value isn't going away anytime soon.

Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($7,900)

The Piggies knocked off number 1 Auburn this week. Now they get a chance to knock off Auburn's chief rival. Alabama doesn't have a lot of size up front, so they have been pushed around by a lot of teams. We saw Kessler have a huge game against them. Williams isn't Kessler, but he's athletic and a good rebounder on a team that will run with the Tide. There's a nice ceiling here for Williams.

Jalen Bridges, West Virginia ($6,400)

Bridges has been coming on strong lately, going over 25 DraftKings points in three of the last five games, including the last two. He had his best game of the season in the first meeting with Oklahoma State back on January 11. He scored 22 actual points and played his usual good defense to finish with 37.75 DraftKings points. That may be a lofty goal for today, but he could flirt with 30. That's not a bad return for the price.

John Butler, Florida State ($4,500)

A lot of minutes have opened up for Butler in the Florida State frontcourt with Malik Osborne and Naheem McLeod sidelined. The first three games went well enough, but a hurt ankle limited him to eight minutes against Wake and he fouled out against Pitt earlier this week. Butler is still a fine value play because of the guaranteed minutes, but his production is sometimes lacking on a guard-dominated team.

Also consider: Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($8,700); Fabian White, Houston ($8,000); Jared Rhoten, Seton Hall ($7,300); Race Thompson, Indiana ($7,000); Henry Coleman III, Texas A&M ($6,400); Dajuan Harris, Kansas ($5,400); Keylan Boone, Oklahoma State ($3,900)

Afternoon Slate:

Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($9,600)

Fade him at your own risk. Tshiebwe has at least a dozen rebounds in every game since the restart. He has posted six consecutive double-doubles with at least 40 DraftKings points in all of those. He has eight games of more than 50 DraftKings points this year. He may not hit that against Florida, but 40 looks all but certain right now. He's a lock for me today.

Colin Castleton, Florida ($8,500)

Castleton has at least 32 DraftKings points in every game since the restart. He missed nearly three weeks in that span, but Castleton picked right back up where he left off in his return and posted a strong game against Georgia this week. He's going to have some trouble with Tshiebwe, but Castleton's consistency makes him a nice target in cash games.

Jordan Wright, Vanderbilt ($6,600)

Wright has emerged as quite the Robin to Pippen's Batman at a fraction of the price. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in four straight games thanks to flirting with a double-double every game. His ceiling isn't all that high, but if he can put up around the 31.25 DraftKings points that he posted in the first meeting with Tennessee, that's a good return for this price.

Zed Key, Ohio State ($4,300)

Key was a disaster against Purdue a couple of weeks ago, but that's the only game that he has been under 20 DraftKings points in the last seven games. Even if Hunter Dickinson is in for Michigan, Key wont really have to deal with him. He posted a double-double against Rutgers this week and his price went down $200. I'll continue using him at a discount until I have a reason not to.

Also consider: Paolo Banchero, Duke ($9,000); Christian Koloko, Arizona ($8,000); Mark Williams, Duke ($7,200); Keion Brooks, Kentucky ($6,200); Quinten Post, Boston College ($5,200); Myreon Jones, Florida ($4,200); Eddie Lampkin, TCU ($3,700)
