Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Thursday 8/6

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 8/6/20. Kipp Heisterman identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

Welcome to another Thursday night edition of Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers, brought to you by RotoBaller!

RotoBaller's has been dishing out streamer advice for years. We're always streamin and dreamin. Each day we'll publish some of the best streaming options to consider in your fantasy baseball daily league lineups. Streaming pitchers and position players to exploit a matchup are extremely important in fantasy baseball, especially in a truncated season like this one.

Tonight's streaming options come from the Rangers, White Sox, Marlins, and Brewers, as well as an arm from the Rockies. Each of them could provide value in your daily lineups. Without further adieu, let's take a look at some options for Thursday night.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Shallow League Streamers (50% Rostered)

Pitchers to Stream:

Kyle Freeland (SP/COL) - 36% Rostered

Kyle Freeland is in a good spot Thursday night as he faces the lowly Giants. He has already posted two quality starts on the season against both the Padres and the Rangers, where he went a combined 12 IP and struck out nine batters while only allowing six hits and four walks. The Giants have slashed .230/.326/.389 with 28 K across 128 AB vs. left-handed pitching thus far in 2020, so Freeland could have a solid day. While the game is in Coors, Freeland is just one season removed from having a sub-3.00 ERA at home and posted a 3.72 ERA at home in 2017 as well.

Hitters to Stream:

Colin Moran (2B/3B PIT) - 55% Rostered

Colin Moran has started the season with season with an absolute boomstick as he currently has hit five HR in his first 11 games. Four of these five HR have come against right-handed pitching and he will be facing Kenta Maeda who has given up 16 HR to lefties across the previous two seasons and allowed a 5.03 FIP to lefties in 2019. There is also a solid chance Moran will be batting cleanup in this matchup.

Deeper League Streamers (25% Rostered)

Hitters to Stream:

Nomar Mazara (OF, CWS) - 34% Rostered

Mazara will be facing off against Brewers' right-hander Josh Lindblom, who has not pitched in a full season since 2017. There is not much data on Lindblom, but he has struggled vs. lefties in limited action to the tune of a 7.36 ERA and 2.182 WHIP in 2017. In 2019, Mazara posted a .368 wOBA vs lefties and also hit 13 of his 19 HR against them. He also posted a .844 OPS and .212 ISO against right-handers in 2019.

Deepest League Streamers (10% Rostered)

Hitters to Stream:

Jesus Aguilar (1B, MIA) - 5% Rostered

Jesus Aguilar gets a nice matchup vs. Orioles' left-hander Wade LeBlanc and their horrendous bullpen. Aguilar has put up solid numbers vs lefties as noted by his .386 and .384 wOBA vs lefties in 2017 and 2018, respectively. While 2019 was somewhat of a down year for him, he still managed to post a .322 wOBA vs lefties and could certainly start a bounceback season against LeBlanc. In 2019, LeBlanc posted an abysmal 5.85 ERA and 1.488 WHIP vs. right-handed hitters. Aguilar is also 3/5 with a double off of LeBlanc in his career.

Jedd Gyorko (3B, MIL) - 0% Rostered

This is somewhat of a dart throw, but Gyorko could prove to be a spark plug for your fantasy team on Thursday night as he matches up against White Sox left-hander, Gio Gonzalez. Gonzalez has posted a four-plus ERA vs. right-handed hitters in four of the previous five seasons. In 2019, Gio had a 4.61 FIP, 1.527 WHIP, and gave up eight HR in just over 55 IP to righties. On the other side, Gyorko has made a habit of hitting left-handed pitchers over his career as he has posted over a .340 wOBA in four of the past five seasons vs. left-handers, including a .393 wOBA as recently as 2018. He has homered and garnered four BB off Gio in his career as well.
