Green Bay Packers - NFL Betting Analysis

Coming off a 27-10 non-conference loss to the New York Jets, the Packers will look to get back in the win column vs Washington. With the loss, Green Bay failed to cover the spread, as they had a -7.5 advantage on the spread. Together, the two teams combined score remained below the over-under betting line of 45. In the game, Green Bay trailed the Jets by a score of 17-10 heading into the 4th quarter. Through 6 games, the Packers have an ATS record of 2-4. So far, they have an over-under record of 2-4. This week's betting total of 41.5 is right in line with their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Packers' offense is averaging 17.83 points per game, placing them 24th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Commander's defense, giving up 22.5 points per game. Although the Packers come into the game ranked just 17th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Washington secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Green Bay to have an above-average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, our projections show that the Packers' offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against Washington, look for Green Bay to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 122.33.

Washington Commanders - NFL Betting Analysis

Last week, the Commanders picked up a conference win, after taking down the Chicago Bears by a score of 12-7. Besides winning straight up, the Commanders also came home with an ATS win as the -1.0 point favorites. The team's combined scoring of 19 points fell below the posted betting line of 38. Washington came back to win the game and cover the -1.0 point spread, despite heading into the 4th quarter trailing, 7-3. The Commanders outscored Chicago by 9 points in the final quarter. Through 6 games, the Commanders have an ATS record of 2-4. So far, they have an over-under record of 2-4. This week's betting total of 41.5 is slightly lower than the line in their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Commanders' offense is averaging 17.0 points per game, placing them 29th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together a strong offensive performance vs a Packers defense giving up 123 points per game. Even though Washington has a good matchup in the passing game, as the Packers are ranked 23rd in passer rating allowed, we don't anticipate the team being able to take advantage. Look for the Commanders to finish the game with a below average performance in the passing game. On the ground, our projections show that the Commanders offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against a Green Bay, look Washington to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 95.5.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Packers vs. Commanders

When looking back at the recent matchups between Green Bay and Washington, the Packers put together a record of 3-2. The over-under record in these games sits at 3-2, with the average scoring total coming in at 47.2 points. Last season, the Packers and Commanders met up for 1 game, with Green Bay picking up a 24-10 win as well as covering the spread at -8.5. The over-under line for the game was set at 48.0 points.

The Washington Commanders have performed well vs the spread in recent games, going 3-2-0. The Packers' offense has averaged 24.0 points per game over the 5 most recent meetings with Washington, compared to the Commanders at 23.2.

Across their previous 3 regular season games, the Packers have a straight up record of just 1-2. In addition, the team has not done well vs the spread, going 0-3. Their over-under record in these games was 2-1.

In their last 3 games away from home, the Packers have a straight up record of 1-2 while going 1-2 vs the spread. The team averaged 17.0 points per game in this stretch.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Commanders have gone 1-2 straight up. In a similar fashion, the team's record vs the spread in these games was just 1-2. Their over-under record in this span was 0-3.

Although Washington has a straight up record of 1-2 in their last 3 home games, they have not held up as well vs the spread going 1-2. The team averaged 17.67 points per game in these games.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Packers -5.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 41.5
