Miami Dolphins - NFL Betting Analysis

This week, the Dolphins will look to keep things rolling, after picking up a 21-19 win over their division rival, the Buffalo Bills. Not only did the Dolphins win the game, but they also covered the spread a 4.5-point underdogs. Together, the two teams combined score remained below the over-under betting line of 54. Miami went into the 4th quarter of the game trailing by 3 at 17-14, but still came back to win and cover the spread as underdogs. Through 3 games, the Dolphins have an ATS record of 3-0. So far, they have an over-under record of 1-2. This week's betting total of 47.0 is right in line with their previous games.

As the Dolphins prepare to take on Cincinnati, they have played well on offense, ranking 8th in points per game at 27.67. Even though they have a tough matchup against the league's 10th ranked defense, look for Miami to continue their strong offensive play. This season, Miami has been one of the better passing teams in the league, averaging 291.33 yards per game through the air. Although, the Bengals defense has been able to limit opposing teams in the passing game, Miami should still be able to continue to generate big plays through the pass. On the ground, Miami figures to have their fair share of problems as they come into the game as the 31st ranked team in rush yards per game. In addition, they are facing a defense that has done a good job stopping the run.

Cincinnati Bengals - NFL Betting Analysis

Cincinnati is looking to tack on another victory, as they defeated New York Jets by a score of 27-12 in 3. The team not only won the game, but also covered the -6.5 point spread as the betting favorite. The team's combined scoring of 39 points, fell below the posted betting line of 46. On their way to picking up a 15 point win, Cincinnati held a 15 point lead heading into the 4th quarter at 27-12. Through 3 games, the Dolphins have an ATS record of 3-0. So far, they have an over-under record of 1-2. This week's betting total of 47.0 is right in line with their previous games.

Heading into this week's matchup, the Bengals offense is averaging 21.33 points per game, placing them 10th in the NFL. Look for the team to put together another strong offensive performance, as they are facing a Dolphins defense giving up 21.4 points per game. Although the Bengals come into the game ranked just 14th in pass yards per game, they will benefit from facing a Miami secondary that is vulnerable through the air. We expect Cincinnati to have an above average performance in the passing attack. On the ground, our projections show that the Bengals offense will have its problems. Even though they have a decent matchup against Miami, look for Cincinnati to come up with fewer rush yards than their season average of 97.0.

Today's NFL Betting Pick - Dolphins vs. Bengals

Miami comes into the game looking to continue their recent success over Cincinnati, as they have won 2 of their last 3 matchups. The two teams have combined to average 47.67 points per game in their last 3 meetings. Miami and Cincinnati did not play each other in the 2021-2022 regular season.

The Miami Dolphins have performed well vs the spread in recent games, going 2-1. On average, the Dolphins have averaged 24.67 points per game in the past 3 head-to-head matchups, compared to Cincinnati at 23.0.

Over their last 3 regular season games, the Dolphins have gone 3-0 straight up. In addition, their ATS record over this stretch is 3-0 while posting a 1-2 over-under mark.

Across their last 3 road contests, Miami has been good against the spread posting a mark of 2-1. Their overall mark in these games was 2-1, while averaging 21.67 points per game.

Across their previous 3 regular season games, the Bengals have a straight up record of just 1-2. Like their straight up record, Cincinnati struggled vs the spread, going 1-2. Over these games, they put together an over-under record of 0-3.

Across the Bengals last 3 home games, the team averaged 22.0 points per game while allowing 21.67. Their record vs the spread in these contests was 2-1, while going 1-2 straight-up.

Recommended ATS Betting Pick: Bengals -3.5

Recommended OU Betting Pick: Over 47.0
