Quincy Milton III - RotoBaller

506 articles

I am a diehard sports fan with a serious love for the Seattle Seahawks. However, I am a fan of all Seattle sports including the Kraken and the Mariners. I grew up around sports playing basketball, football, and lacrosse growing up. I went on to play lacrosse in college in Massachusetts and I have settled into the New England region for the time being. To this day I receive grief in New England about the infamous 1-yard line interception in the Super Bowl. Outside of sports I enjoy everything that has to do with the outdoors. Staying active is a big part of who I am and that manifests itself in sports and the outdoors for myself.

Trey Palmer Active In Week 1

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer (concussion) is active in Week 1. Palmer had managed to log several full practices throughout the week and ultimately proved that he was ready to go on game day. Palmer is listed as the Buccaneers No. 4 wide receiver. He caught 39 passes for 385 yards and three […]

Noah Brown A Healthy Scratch For Week 1

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown is a healthy scratch in Week 1. The Commanders take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the team looks to enter a new era with a new regime. Brown joined the team after being cut by the Texans at the conclusion of the preseason. He had a solid season […]

Jonah Williams Ruled Out In Week 1

Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Jonah Williams (knee) was ruled out after suffering a knee injury against the Bills on Sunday. Williams is an important piece of an uninspiring Cardinal's O-line. Williams came over to the Cardinals as a free agent during the 2024 offseason. As such, it is disappointing to see him go down in […]

Nick McCloud Questionable With Knee Injury

New York Giants cornerback Nick McCloud (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Vikings. The Giants cannot afford to lose any starters on a defense that has surrendered 28 points thus far in Week 1. The Giants will hope that the injury is not serious. The defense ended the year strongly in […]

Dylan Laube A Healthy Scratch In Week 1

Las Vegas Raiders running back Dylan Laube will be a healthy scratch on Sunday when the Raiders take on the Chargers. The Chargers will enter Week 1 with Zamir White, Alexander Mattison, and Ameer Abdullah as their top-three running backs. Laube had created intrigue throughout the preseason and training camp with solid play. However, the […]

Fantasy Football Matchups We Love: The Fantasy Matchmaker Week 1

Football is back. The regular season kicks off on Thursday when the Kansas City Chiefs meet the Baltimore Ravens. As such, fantasy football is back in business and fantasy managers will finally get to see their draft picks in action. Week 1 is a feeling-out period. No team is completely buttoned up. Additionally, projecting success […]

Seahawks D/ST A Top-Five Option In Week 1

The Seattle Seahawks defense/special teams will get a rookie quarterback in Bo Nix when the Denver Broncos visit Seattle in Week 1. The Seahawks' defense should be improved in 2024, especially with head coach Mike Macdonald coming over from the Baltimore Ravens. Rookie quarterbacks tend to struggle in the NFL. Nix has more college experience […]

Noah Fant Not A Starting Tight End In Week 1

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (toe) should not be on fantasy radars in Week 1. The Seahawks will host the Denver Broncos and project to have a solid day on offense. However, Fant has not been much of a fantasy contributor during his three-year tenure as a Seahawk. There is always the chance that […]

Zach Charbonnet Off The Fantasy Radar In Week 1

Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet is better left on your bench in Week 1 when the Seahawks host the Denver Broncos. The Broncos had one of the league's worst rushing defenses in 2023. However, Charbonnet is unlikely to see a large enough rushing share to be effective for fantasy. If history is any indication, […]

Jason Myers A Solid Option In Week 1

Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers is a solid option in fantasy in Week 1. The Seahawks offense should have plenty of chances to score on Sunday against a middle-of-the-road Broncos defense. Myers was the K6 in 2023 and should be able to pick up where he left off. He is an incredibly accurate kicker and […]

Geno Smith Outside Of The QB1 Options In Week 1

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith finds himself outside of the starting options at the position in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. This is nothing against Smith who should actually have a bounce-back season with new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. The matchup is also relatively neutral as the Denver Broncos were middle of the pack […]

Kenneth Walker III A Fringe RB1 In Week 1

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III draws an excellent matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 1. The Broncos boasted the third-worst rushing defense in the NFL in 2023. The defense improved as the season progressed, but there is no reason to believe they will be able to hold Walker in check in Week […]

Week 1 Will Be A Proving Ground For Tyler Lockett In Fantasy

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh) enters Week 1 after being limited in practice for much of training camp. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba emerging this preseason, the Seahawks have three excellent options at wide receiver. Lockett slowed down in 2023. After four straight 1,000-yard seasons, Lockett only recorded 894 yards and five touchdowns in 2023. […]

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Is A Flex Play With Upside In Week 1

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has an excellent opportunity to make a statement in Week 1. With DK Metcalf drawing the attention of cornerback Patrick Surtain II and Tyler Lockett (thigh) coming off a training camp injury, Smith-Njigba could find himself on the field and open often. All reports suggest that Smith-Njigba has had […]

DK Metcalf Likely To Draw Patrick Surtain Shadow In Week 1

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has a tall task ahead of him against the Denver Broncos in Week 1. The Broncos have one of the NFL's best young cornerbacks, Patrick Surtain II. Metcalf will probably draw a shadow from Surtain who shadowed on 48.5% of his coverages in 2023. As such, Surtain may curb […]

Jaylen Warren Remains Limited In Practice

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) remained limited in practice on Wednesday. This comes as no surprise as the Steelers have been bringing him on slowly during his return from injury. Warren has repeatedly indicated that he plans to play in Week 1. The Falcons were a middle-of-the-road rushing defense in 2023 so this […]

Jerry Jeudy A Full Participant On Wednesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (knee) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Jeudy has been relatively banged up throughout the preseason and training camp but appears to be full healthy heading into Week 1. Jeudy is looking for a fresh start in Cleveland after spending his first four seasons with the Denver […]

Justin Herbert Feels 100% Heading Into Week 1

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (foot) said that he feels 100% heading into a Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. Herbert explained that he did not have plantar fasciitis and that his injury was a "personal thing you keep to yourself". This is great news for fantasy managers who roster Herbert or […]

Seahawks To Be Run-First Offense In 2024

The Seattle Seahawks appear to be committing to effectively running the ball based on a new statement from wide receiver DK Metcalf. Metcalf explained that new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb made it clear that despite his recent pass-heavy history, the Seahawks are going to run the ball downhill. This is great news for Kenneth Walker […]

DJ Chark Does Not Practice

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver DJ Chark (hip) did not practice on Wednesday. Chark has been dealing with the injury for a couple of weeks and has not practiced at all this week. The Chargers need Chark's big play ability and experience in a relatively inexperienced wide receiving room. In 15 games with the Carolina […]

Chase McLaughlin Misses Practice

Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Chase McLaughlin (abdomen/illness) did not practice on Wednesday. McLaughlin hit on 93.5% of his field goal attempts in 2023 and was rewarded with a three-year contract extension. Tampa Bay has a favorable matchup for kickers in Week 1 so it will be worth monitoring McLaughlin's status leading up to the weekend. […]

Hunter Henry A Full Participant In Practice

New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry (foot) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. This comes as good news for a Patriots team in need of offensive weapons. Henry will start at tight end and should continue his success in the red zone for the Patriots. In 2023 he recorded 42 receptions for […]

Later-Round Fantasy Football Running Backs With RB2 Upside

Fantasy managers who employ a Zero-RB or Hero-RB strategy need to nail their later-round running back selections in their drafts. With such a drop-off among running backs after the top tier in 2024, it is more important than ever to hit on the later-round running backs. Many of the running backs selected in the later […]

Jets Extend Michael Carter II

The New York Jets agreed to terms on a three-year $30.75 million contract extension with defensive back Michael  Carter II on Tuesday, making him the highest-paid slot corner in the NFL. The deal is worth up to $33 million with slightly more than $19 million in total guarantees. Carter is the Jets' nickelback and has […]

49ers Restructure Contract Of Deebo Samuel Sr.

The San Francisco 49ers restructured the contract of wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. on Tuesday. The move created $16.4 million in cap space. The restructure comes as no surprise given the recent contracts the 49ers handed to wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and offensive tackle Trent Williams. The 49ers are in win-now mode and are preparing […]

Cameron Heyward Gets New Contract

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward signed a three-year, $45 million contract extension on Tuesday. Heyward is one of the Steelers' best defensive players. Keeping Heyward happy is extremely important to their success. He will help to anchor the Steelers D/ST in fantasy football in 2024. Additionally, Heyward and the rest of the Steelers' defense […]

Brian Daboll To Call Plays In 2024

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll is set to call offensive plays in 2024. Daboll had relinquished the job to offensive coordinator Mike Kafka when he was hired as head coach in 2022. This could be good news for Malik Nabers managers. Daboll cut his teeth calling plays as the offensive coordinator for quarterback […]

Kadarius Toney Visits Seahawks

Free-agent wide receiver Kadarius Toney visited the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday. The Chiefs released Toney during roster cuts after he struggled with injuries and drops during his tenure in KC. The 25-year-old caught 27 passes for 169 yards and one touchdown in 13 games in 2023 for the Super Bowl champs. While he was once […]

Fantasy Football WRs Whose Targets Will Increase in 2024 - Market Share Bull Rush

Player and coach movement shakes up the landscape of the NFL every season. Sometimes this movement decreases opportunities for some players and increases it for others. Pass-catchers are especially susceptible to changes in the NFL landscape. If a high-end wide receiver changes teams, they are likely to depress the targets of their new teammates. Simultaneously, […]

Amarius Mims Back On Practice Field

Cincinnati Bengals rookie offensive lineman Amarius Mims (pectoral) returned to practice on Monday. The Bengals' O-line has struggled in recent years, which led to Mims being drafted 18th overall in 2024. Mims is not currently listed as a starter, but he should be an important rotational piece. The Bengals still have the No. 21 PFF-ranked […]
