Dennis Clausen

13849 articles

Dennis wasn’t always a hardcore fan of sports. Instead, he spent most of his time on the mat, focusing on Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling. He was also involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. However, Dennis eventually began watching basketball and football, where he developed an obsession with his hometown Brooklyn Nets while rekindling his love for the Cincinnati Bengals, a team he enjoyed using in Madden in the early 90s. Since then, he started writing about fantasy sports before joining RotoBaller, where he’s been for nearly a decade, mostly writing NBA and NFL news. He loves playing DFS, especially NBA. Dennis is a member of the FSWA and has been competing in the King’s Classic, a fantasy league consisting of fantasy football writers from various websites, since 2019. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also loves video games, especially Madden, NBA2K, and Final Fantasy.

Payton Pritchard Good to Go on Monday

Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard (neck) will play on Monday against Detroit. He popped up on the injury report because of neck spasms. Fortunately, the 27-year-old won't miss his first game of the 2025 campaign. Pritchard is having a fantastic season, averaging 16.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists, all career-highs. While he's shot a […]

Robert Williams III Available Against Golden State

Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III (illness) will play on Sunday against the Warriors. The 28-year-old will return from a two-game stint on the shelf. He would have been in line to start had Donovan Clingan (leg) been ruled out. However, Clingan is available, so Williams isn't the best fantasy option in any format, […]

Donovan Clingan Back on Sunday Night

Portland Trail Blazers center Donovan Clingan (leg) will return from a three-game stint on the shelf for Sunday's meeting with Golden State. The 21-year-old has averaged a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double this season while amassing 1.4 blocks per contest. His shooting numbers aren't the best (48.2% from the field and 24.1% from deep). However, Clingan has […]

Joel Embiid Cleared for Action on Sunday

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will play on Sunday against Atlanta. The 31-year-old is coming off his best game of the 2025 campaign, amassing 39 points and nine boards in Friday's win over Indiana. With Tyrese Maxey (illness) sidelined again, Embiid could be in line for another quality outing versus a Hawks team that […]

Anthony Edwards Remains Out on Sunday Evening

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (foot) won't play on Sunday against Sacramento. Edwards continues to battle foot soreness and will now miss his second-straight game. Interestingly enough, he'll also miss his sixth game of the 2025 campaign, tying his mark from his previous two seasons combined. The Timberwolves won't be on the court again until […]

Nickeil Alexander-Walker Available Versus Philly

Atlanta Hawks guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker (ankle) is available for Sunday's game versus the 76ers. He popped up on the injury report because of a sprained right ankle, although the issue won't be enough to cause his first absence of the 2025 campaign. The 27-year-old is easily having the best season of his career, averaging 20.7 […]

Tyrese Maxey Will Miss Another Game on Sunday Night

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (illness) won't play on Sunday against the Hawks, his second-straight absence. He's under the weather, so his next chance to suit up will be on Friday night versus the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. With Joel Embiid (knee) questionable, Philly may need to rely more on Paul George and VJ […]

Joel Embiid Questionable Versus Atlanta

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) is questionable ahead of Sunday's game in Atlanta. Fantasy managers are used to seeing his name on the injury report. However, with Tyrese Maxey (illness) doubtful, more attention is on Embiid's availability after he had 39 points in Friday's win over the Indiana Pacers. If he ends up getting […]

Jarrett Allen Expected to Return on Sunday

Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (finger) is expected to play in Sunday's meeting with the Hornets after missing the last six games. His return can't come soon enough, with Evan Mobley (calf) anticipated to miss 2-4 weeks. While Allen hasn't been as productive on the scoring end, averaging 14.3 points, that may change with Mobley […]

Collin Sexton Unavailable Against Cleveland

Charlotte Hornets guard Collin Sexton (quadriceps) won't play on Sunday against Cleveland, marking his fourth-straight absence. With LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Tre Mann (knee) also on the shelf, there will be extra minutes up for grabs, which Sexton likely would have absorbed. However, with Sexton sidelined as well, KJ Simpson may get another start. The […]

Khris Middleton Still Sidelined Versus Pacers

Washington Wizards forward Khris Middleton (knee) will remain out for Sunday's game against Indiana, marking his third-straight absence because of a right knee contusion. The 34-year-old is nowhere near as productive as he once was, averaging 10.4 points, the second-lowest mark of his career, adding 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists. His next chance to get […]

Alexandre Sarr Out Again on Sunday

Washington Wizards center Alexandre Sarr (adductor) is out for Sunday's meeting with the Indiana Pacers. It's unknown how much longer the 20-year-old will be sidelined by the right adductor strain. However, while Sarr remains on the shelf, Marvin Bagley III should continue to take his place in the rotation. The former Duke Blue Devil has […]

Jalen Suggs Injured on Saturday Night, Leaves Arena in a Wheelchair

Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (hip) exited Saturday's NBA Cup loss to the Knicks. He did not return. Suggs was having himself a fantastic contest before suffering a left hip injury in the third quarter, and he would go on to finish this one with 26 points and seven assists in 29 minutes. With the […]

Mike Gesicki on the Streaming Radar Against Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki is coming off his best game of the 2025 campaign, catching all six targets for 86 yards. He also found the end zone for the first time this season. Naturally, his stock is much higher after that performance. It increased even more once Tee Higgins (concussion) was ruled out. […]

Samaje Perine Not a Safe Fantasy Option Against Baltimore

Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine had 14 attempts in the Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens. He also logged a season-high 33 offensive snaps. As a result, many assumed the 30-year-old would continue to have more of a role in the recent loss to the Buffalo Bills. However, that didn't happen, with Perine […]

Evan McPherson Should be More Involved in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson had a career-high six field goals in the Week 13 win over the Baltimore Ravens. However, his services weren't needed much in the recent loss to the Buffalo Bills, ending the day without an attempt. With that said, McPherson has been a top-10 fantasy kicker this season. While it's illogical […]

Andrei Iosivas Not a Lock to See More Attention in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas has only two touchdowns this season after finding the end zone six times in 2024. With Tee Higgins (concussion) sidelined heading into the Week 15 game versus Baltimore, Iosivas has gained more attention from fantasy managers in need of a streaming option. Higgins wasn't available in Week 13 against […]

Chase Brown Looking to Stay Productive After a Two-Touchdown Effort in Week 14

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown has played better in the final stretch of the 2025 campaign. He was much improved as a runner leading up to the Week 14 loss to the Bills, amassing at least 5.2 yards per carry in five of his previous six appearances. Although the 25-year-old struggled on the ground […]

Ja'Marr Chase Projected to See More Targets in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is having a down year compared to last. However, he still ranks among the top wideouts in the National Football League, which isn't much of surprise to anyone. The former LSU Tiger is coming off a rough showing in the Week 14 loss to the Buffalo Bills, catching only […]

Joe Burrow Aiming to Keep Bengals Slim Playoff Hopes Alive in Week 15

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was having a fantastic showing in the Week 14 meeting with the Bills. Unfortunately, his solid day ended abruptly after he threw interceptions on back-to-back drives late in the fourth quarter, allowing Buffalo to erase a deficit and pick up the victory. Still, Burrow's day wasn't a complete flop, much […]

Tyler Warren Looking to Keep Colts in the Playoff Conversation in Week 15

Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren is only 13 games into his career at the professional level. However, he's already established himself as one of the top tight ends in the National Football League. The 2025 No. 14 overall pick has had a few rough showings, although he still ranks among the top names at […]

Alec Pierce Could Have Trouble Surpassing Fantasy Projections in Week 15

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (rib) practiced in full all week and doesn't carry an injury designation heading into Sunday's clash with the Seahawks. Pierce finished the 2024 campaign with seven touchdowns, a career-high. However, he has only scored twice this season. While the decline in trips to the end zone is a significant […]

Michael Pittman Jr. Has a Grim Outlook Against Seattle

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. had a down year in 2024. However, he's turned it around this season. In 13 appearances, the 28-year-old has 69 catches (94 targets) for 699 yards. While he could have a tough time surpassing his mark from the 2023 campaign (109 receptions), he has already amassed a career-high […]

Jonathan Taylor Facing a Tough Seahawks Defense in Week 15

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has had a stellar season. The 26-year-old leads the league in several rushing categories, including yards (1,356) and touchdowns (16). He also ranks second in attempts (247), two behind James Cook III (249). At this point, Taylor appears to be well on his way to having the best season […]

Joel Embiid Available Against Indiana

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will play on Friday night against Indiana. The 31-year-old has appeared in only nine games throughout the 2025 campaign. Outside of his routine absences, fantasy managers have also been frustrated by his career-low averages of 18.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 21.4% shooting from behind the arc. With that said, […]

Ja Morant Back on Friday Night

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (calf) will play on Friday versus Utah after missing the last 10 games because of a strained right calf. The 26-year-old hasn't had the best season, averaging 17.9 points and a career-low 16.7% shooting from behind the arc. Fortunately, he's at least amassed 7.6 assists and 1.0 steals to partially […]

Coby White Cleared for Action Versus Hornets

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (calf) is available for Friday's meeting with the Hornets. He missed the start of the 2025 campaign and has sat out sporadically since returning for the loss to the Utah Jazz on November 16. However, the extra time off due to the NBA Cup allowed White to get some much-needed […]

Tyrese Maxey Under the Weather on Friday

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey (illness) won't play on Friday against Indiana. The 25-year-old is in the MVP conversation this season. Unfortunately, he'll miss his first game of the 2025 campaign on Friday due to an illness. His next chance to suit up will be on Sunday in Atlanta. In the meantime, Jared McCain or […]

Victor Wembanyama Expected to Return on Saturday

San Anthonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (calf) is expected to play in Saturday's NBA Cup meeting with the Thunder after missing the last 12 games due to a calf strain. The 2023 No. 1 overall pick was performing at an MVP-caliber level before going on the shelf, averaging 26.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists (all […]

Anthony Edwards Sidelined on Friday Evening

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (foot) won't play on Friday versus Golden State. The 2020 No. 1 overall pick had 40 points in Monday's loss to the Phoenix Suns. He'll now miss his fifth game of the 2025 campaign, which is almost the number of contests he was sidelined in the previous two seasons combined. […]
