Martin Truex Jr. starts 12th on Sunday from the Auto Club Speedway at Fontana. The No. 19 car has won this race before in 2018. Truex Jr. is in a good position once again. 2019 and 2020 saw him start from the back of the field which made it hard for him to make up ground. His place differentials were still +19 and +24 respectively. He even managed to lead three laps in 2020 despite starting 38th. It was a pesky late issue that dropped Truex Jr. to 14th. Between that and 2018, it would not be a surprise to see Truex Jr. up near the front on Sunday. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
