Viktor Hovland is still looking for his first bit of success in the 2022 calendar year on the PGA Tour after missing the cut last week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Hovland, already a winner on the Tour this season, had all of his success during the fall swing in late 2021. Hovland will now look to get something going at Riviera, a place he finished inside the top five last season. Hovland has mostly solid stats this season, but one that is concerning is his play around the green. Hovland sits 219th on tour in strokes gained around the green, something that should be very important this week. Due to his poor play around the green, his tee-to-green number is also outside the top 160, even with his play off the tee and on approach, which ranks inside the top 40 on tour. With his high DFS price this week, Hovland does carry some risk, but he is worth a look this week. Just keep in mind the possibility of a missed cut is very real this week.--Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
