After a T2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am a couple weeks ago, Jordan Spieth looked primed for a big finish in Phoenix, but that didn't happen. Spieth made the cut, but finished T60. Spieth will now return to a place he has had an up-and-down history, which is Riviera Country Club. Spieth has two top-10 finishes in his career at Riviera, those came in 2015 and 2018. However, Spieth has finished outside the top-50 twice, and missed the cut twice as well, making Spieth a boom-or-bust option this week. In terms of his game, Spieth sits 110th on tour in strokes gained on approach, and 114th in strokes gained around the green.
