Washington Capitals left-winger Alex Ovechkin scored three times on two different goalies Friday. He started his scoring exploits early in the second period with a power-play goal 2:50 in. Then, less than a minute later, Ovechkin struck again. If that was not enough, Ovechkin completed the natural hat trick 4:04 into the third period. That gives Ovechkin 18 goals on the season in 21 games. Ovechkin also has a four-game point streak with ten points in that span. The left-winger became the oldest Washington Capital to notch a hat trick in team history (36 years old, 70 days). Simply, Ovechkin defies time. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
