Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov exited Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Islanders in the second period after injuring his left knee. The Panthers captain was involved in a knee-on-knee collision with Islanders defenseman Scott Mayfield at the start of the period. Barkov bagged his 17th point of the campaign with an assist before getting hurt, extending his point streak to 10 games. He will now be evaluated over the next couple of days. Knee injuries are never nice and it would be a shame if Barkov is forced to miss an extended period of time. Fingers crossed that we get some good news regarding his status prior to Saturday's clash with Minnesota.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
