DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily Fantasy College Football (11/9/21)

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for 11/9/21. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win big.

Do you feel that? The chill in the air means football nearly every day of the week once we hit November. November is here and so is MACtion! The entire conference will play on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, giving us two bonus three-game slates! Due to the small slates that we have leading up to the weekend, I'm going to do my spreads picks and DFS picks in the same article. You know, to be more efficient.

We start off Tuesday MACtion with Buffalo heading down from the arctic to take on Miami of Ohio. Western Michigan hosts an Akron team that finally got that elusive win! We close off with Eastern Michigan against Ohio. This is going to fun!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/9/21 locking at 7 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

CFB Betting Picks 11/9:

Buffalo at Miami(OH)(-7.5)

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 2

There are a whole mess of things that I don't like about this line. Buffalo got beat up by Bowling Green last week. A Miami defense that had been stout got trampled by Ohio in a disappointing loss. Then there's that half hanging around on the Miami side. As if this weren't difficult enough! Buffalo is a one man gang right now, and not the good one. I have to go Miami at home in spite of the half.

Akron at Western Michigan(-26.5)

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 1

This Akron team barely resembles the team that lost to Temple. This feels a touch high. Give me the Zips.

Ohio at Eastern Michigan(-7.5)

Betting Pick Confidence Factor: 2

Wow. That half on the side of Eastern Michigan is a bit surprising. Still, I trust the Eagles more than Ohio. The return of Tanner Knue for Eastern was huge last week. Just wait until he gets his bearings! That might happen here. Give me EMU (and Doug).

DraftKings CFB DFS Quarterbacks

Kaleb Eleby, Western Michigan ($7,500)

Eleby's peripherals suffered against Central Michigan last week, but the yardage was still there. The only team that really torched Akron through the air was Ohio State, but the Zips have given up 11 passing touchdowns in the last four games. We know how dangerous the Broncos receivers are. If this game stays close, which seems reasonable with the way Akron has been playing, Eleby could be in for a big game here.

Ben Bryant, Eastern Michigan ($6,800)

We all saw what Brett Gabbert did against the Bobcats last week, right? Gabbert put up almost 44 DraftKings points. Bryant doesn't run like Gabbert does, but he threw for 354 and three touchdowns against the Rockets. It's relatively safe to say that Ohio's defense is markedly worse than Toledo. Bryant isn't going to put up quite the numbers Gabbert did, but he'll flirt with 30 DraftKings points for a very low price.

Also consider: Brett Gabbert, Miami-OH ($7,700); Zach Gibson, Akron ($5,000)

DraftKings CFB DFS Running Backs

Dylan McDuffie, Buffalo ($6,900)

Jarret who? Seriously though,  McDuffie has been exactly what Buffalo needed since they figured out that Jarret Patterson's shoes were a couple sizes too big for Kevin Marks. McDuffie has racked up 507 rushing yards with five rushing touchdowns in the last four games. Anyone in a Ohio uniform that tried to run on the Redhawks last week was successful. The only difference here is that McDuffie will take the lion's share of the carries.

Jonzell Norrils, Akron ($5,700)

It's going to be tougher sledding against Western than it was against Ball State and Buffalo, but at least we know that Norrils is the preferred back. He even caught a couple of passes out of the backfield to go with his 17 carries. With this kind of workload at this price, Norrils has really good upside. There's some concern that Akron might get buried, but if Ball State had trouble doing so, I think they can hang with Western for a while too.

O'Shaan Allison, Ohio ($3,900)

De'Montre Tuggle is the unquestioned lead back for the Bobcats. This situation is further muddled by two good runners themselves playing quarterback. Still, Allison is the back that is in the game for most third down plays. He get a lot of tough yards, but more importantly, he is the leading receiver among the Bobcats backs. Allison has a decent floor due to the receptions, but his upside isn't all that high. However, he opens up a lot for your lineups at this price.

Also consider: De'Montre Tuggle, Ohio ($7,000); Sean Tyler, Western Michigan ($6,300); LaDarius Jefferson, Western Michigan ($5,200); Jawon Hamilton, Eastern Michigan ($4,500)

DraftKings CFB DFS Wide Receivers

Jack Sorenson, Miami-OH ($9,000)

Sorenson put up a huge 57.3 DraftKings points on Ohio last week, but you know what? It's not even that big of an outlier. Sorenson has at least 22 DraftKings points in every conference game this year. When there's MACtion going on, Sorenson is guaranteed to have a large part in the festivities. This is another great matchup in Buffalo. 20 is the floor here!

Hassan Beydoun, Eastern Michigan ($7,400)

Well, one week of getting a nice discount on Beydoun is better than nothing. Ben Bryant has figured out why his predecessors targeted Beydoun so much. He has at least 12 receptions in three of the last five games. I'm not going to say that Dylan Drummond is obsolete, but he definitely doesn't have near the upside that Beydoun does.

Jaylen Hall, Western Michigan ($5,100)

I don't like the price on Moore, especially if the Broncos handle Akron in this one. Hall has five receptions and at least 12 yards per catch in each of the last four games. He is becoming a reliable and very affordable piece of a very good offense. I will be getting a lot of exposure to Hall at this price.

Isiah Cox, Ohio ($4,900)

Cox had a season-high seven receptions against Kent when Kurtis Rourke came in under center. He followed that up with six more last week and his first 100-yard receiving game of the season (not to mention the two touchdowns). Will Rourke be there again? That's anyone's guess. Armani Rogers has been siphoning snaps in every game, and it will likely depend on if Ohio needs to pass or not. If the Bobcats fall behind in this one, Cox could end up having another nice game. Ohio receivers are nothing more than GPP darts at this point.

Also consider: Skyy Moore, Western Michigan ($8,300); Quian Williams, Buffalo ($6,300); Mac Hippenhammer, Miami-OH ($4,900); Tanner Knue, Eastern Michigan ($4,800)
