FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (11/5/21): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

John Brubaker highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 11/5/21, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Happy Friday, RotoBallers! I hope this week of NBA DFS has treated you well. I'm continuing to work on my NBA model, trying to gather more information to make sure all of you are as armed as possible going into each slate. Even with the small adjustments I've made so far, it seems to be working. I'm trying to implement different factors to separate cash options against GPP options. I'll continue to keep you all updated with the adjustments I make, and with all of that said, let's get to tonight!

Tonight we have a big slate, with nine games on tap. With FanDuel adding multi-position eligibility players, we'll have to attack slates a bit differently to make our lineups as optimal as possible. That's where I come in! I'll look to find my personal top plays and values for tonight's slate. Things can change during the day as well, so I'll do my best to update as news comes out!

Here are my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/5/21. You can also check out today's DraftKings NBA DFS lineup picks. Keep an eye on RotoBaller’s injury news to stay up to date before lineups are locked.

FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Bradley Beal, PG/SG - vs MEM ($8,900)

Bradley Beal has had a rather up and down season but now that his price has dropped below $9K, he's impossible not to consider. He's only averaging 1.14 fantasy points per minute this year, but as he adjusts and begins shooting the ball better, that number will surely go up. He gets a solid matchup against the Grizzlies, who rank in the bottom third in DvP against the SG position. Beal and Ja Morant should have a nice back-and-forth in what should be a fun game.

Derrick White, SG/PG - at ORL ($6,100)

Derrick White is still too cheap in my opinion. I got burned by him on Monday night, due to him only playing 26 minutes. While I think the same could happen tonight due to a blowout, I rate him as one of the top values on the slate as the Spurs could jump out early and knock buckets down against the Magic tonight. White gets a very small boost with Jakob Poeltl being out of the lineup as well, averaging 0.97 fantasy points per minute without Poeltl on the floor.

Darius Garland, PG/SG - at TOR ($5,900)

Garland is another guy I feel is just too cheap. He's averaging 29.41 FD points per game, including back-to-back 30+ FD point performances. He's been getting it done in the points and assists columns, and while he gets a tough matchup tonight against the Raptors, I think he should be able to hit value. It's worth noting that he'll get a big boost with Kevin Love and Lauri Markkanen out tonight, as his FD points per minute elevates from 0.9 to 0.96.

Also consider: Stephen Curry ($9,800), Reggie Jackson ($5,700)

FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

OG Anunoby, SF/SG - vs CLE ($7,700)

We'll go back to the well with OG Anunoby after he did us a solid and logged 38.5 FD points on Wednesday. He's hit at least 33 FD points in six of his last seven games and gets a strong matchup against Cleveland who is among the worst in the league at defending the forward position. He's averaging roughly one FD point per minute, and my early minute projections are showing he should play about 38 minutes, making him a great mid-range play to build around.

Draymond Green, PF/C - vs NO ($7,400)

I was a year early on the Warriors' comeback to the dominant team they once were, but boy do they sure look dominant now. Standing atop the Western Conference, they've been playing incredibly. Draymond has been playing a big role in this, averaging 8.7/8.9/7.1, and logging 2.3 peripheral stats per game. He had a "floor" game on Wednesday against the Hornets, but should be able to return to form against the Pelicans in what should be a high-scoring matchup.

Scottie Barnes, SF/PF - vs CLE ($6,700)

Barnes has missed the last two games but it's hard to ignore what he did in the three games prior, putting up 38.9, 41.3, and 40.9 FD points respectively. I'll have to monitor his minute projections throughout the day, but if he has no restrictions he should play at least 32 minutes, as he has in each game but one all season. He's averaging 0.95 FD points per minute, and like Anunoby, draws a strong matchup against the Cavs, especially without Love and Markkanen.

Also consider: Kevin Durant ($10,500), RJ Barrett ($6,600)

FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jonas Valanciunas, C - at GS ($8,600)

On the other side of the Warriors/Pelicans matchup, we have Jonas Valanciunas. JoVal has been fantastic all season long, averaging 19.2/14.1/2.6. While the matchup against the Warriors proves to be a tough one, Valanciunas should expect to see at least 30 minutes and that should be enough to hit a solid floor in cash games. Valanciunas will get a boost if the likes of Brandon Ingram and Herbert Jones are ruled in, as he logs 1.29 fantasy points per minute with them on the floor.

Mo Bamba, C/PF - vs SA ($6,500)

I mentioned Bamba in my previous article on Wednesday, mentioning that his price will be on the rise and he will become more of a GPP option. He had a "floor" game for the third straight game on Wednesday, logging just 26.5 FD points in 29 minutes. He's due for a bounce-back game tonight against a Spurs team who are among the worst against the center position and are now missing Jakob Poeltl who is on the COVID-19 list. He should play over 30 minutes tonight, and I rate both him and Wendell Carter Jr. as great plays tonight.

Also consider: Wendell Carter Jr. ($6,400), Evan Mobley ($6,200)
