DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (10/24/21): NBA DFS Lineups

Stephen Curry - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on October 24, 2021. Mike Marteny provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a fairly light slate with the NFL still the center of the sports universe on Sunday. With it comes smaller tournaments on DraftKings, but there are still some ways out there to come away with more than we put in. We have five evening games after the afternoon tilt.

We start off in Houston with Boston coming to town. The Knicks play host to Orlando and Philly heads to OKC to cap off the 7pm Eastern start times. We close out with two left coast games with Sacramento hosting the Warriors and Memphis heads to L.A. to face the new-look Lakers.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/24/21. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Stephen Curry - PG, GS at SAC (11,000)

Down is up. Cats are living with dogs. And Steph Curry is now Russell Westbrook. Curry has double-digit rebounds in both games this year, one of those games with Westbrook on the same court as him. The assists leave something to be desired, but if Curry is going to keep rebounding like this, he's going to have some massive games for DFS purposes. I don't like putting this much money up for a player, but it feels warranted here.

Jalen Suggs - PG/SG, ORL at NYK ($5,200)

Suggs underwhelmed in his professional debut against the Spurs, but he was much better against this same Knicks team in Orlando on Friday. A travel day to get to New York will get Suggs another chance to shine. He racked up 37.75 DraftKings points despite shooting just 4-17 from the floor. The peripheral numbers for Suggs were impressive. It is taking him some time to find his shot and the Garden can be overwhelming for some young players. However, if Suggs finds his shot, he has slate-breaking potential here.

De'Anthony Melton - PG/SG, MEM at LAL ($4,200)

The Grizzlies play a lot of guys, but Melton has played 64 minutes in the first two games. He is still mispriced on DraftKings, especially when you consider the numbers he has put up in those minutes. Melton has 67.25 DraftKings points in that span. He has been efficient from the floor, a marksman from three, and active on the boards. Melton is all but a lock for 7x value. I don't care about ownership. We need Melton. We can differentiate elsewhere.

Others to consider: Ja Morant ($9,200), Evan Fournier ($6,400), Tyrese Maxey ($5,700), Furkan Korkmaz ($4,200)

DraftKings Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Julius Randle - PF/C, NYK vs. ORL ($8,700)

Randle's usage is ridiculous (in a good way) under Tom Thibodeaux. He only played 30 minutes against the Magic on Friday, so beware another blowout here. If this game stays close, look out. Randle played 46 of the 58 minutes against Boston in the opener. The intrigue with Randle is the 48.5 DraftKings points in those 30 minutes. He is the focal point of the Knicks offense. We don't have much of a reason to believe that Orlando can hang around, but the sky is the limit for Randle if they do.

Harrison Barnes - SF/PF, SAC vs. GS ($7,300)

Randle has been a monster so far for the Kings. He put up 108 DraftKings points against Utah and Portland in the first two games. Those are two playoff teams we're talking about, so those kinds of numbers against quality opponents is worth keeping an eye on. I like Barnes less if he draws Draymond here (which he might), but even so, Barnes has been a terror on the boards along with his quality shooting. He is still priced low enough that we don't need a 50 out of him to hit 6x. He can still get close though!

Desmond Bane - SF, MEM at LAL ($4,200)

Bane has played 61 minutes and produced 66.75 DraftKings points. Like Melton, he too is underpriced. The DraftKings pricing algorithm hasn't fully kicked in yet, and the perceived tough matchup against the Lakers is holding the prices down. Bane produces in every category, which makes him a DFS darling. It's even more pronounced with his price this low.

Scottie Barnes - SF/PF, TOR vs. DAL ($4,000)

Others to consider: LeBron James, ($9,100), Tobias Harris ($7,800), Jaren Jackson Jr. ($6,400), Al Horford ($5,900), Wendell Carter Jr. ($5,700), Obi Toppin ($4,300)

DraftKings Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Anthony Davis - PF/C, LAL vs MEM ($9,400)

The Grizzlies may not be the most talented team, but they will get after you. Davis has been big for the Lakers in the first two games, putting up 108.25 DraftKings points in the first two games. He dropped over 50 on the Suns despite a poor shooting night. The LakeShow's version of the Big Three is being run by Davis right now. He may not have the upside, but keep in mind that LeBron hasn't dropped a 60 against Memphis since February of 2019. Davis is the guy to target for the Lakers tonight.

Mo Bamba - C, ORL at NYK ($6,200)

Orlando is starting Bamba with Wendell Carter and the former has far overshadowed the latter so far. Carter has been good, but Bamba is bordering on dominant. He has only missed five shots in two games, making six of nine threes in that span. He has been active on the boards, blocked six shots, and is even passing well out of double teams. Bamba was green coming out of Texas. He is ripening now but his price has yet to catch up.

Others to consider: Christian Wood ($8,400), Richaun Holmes ($5,900), Steven Adams ($5,000)
