Dallas Stars defenseman John Klingberg injured his left leg just minutes into the team's season opener against the Rangers on Thursday. He got sandwiched between two Rangers players and had to be helped off the ice. The Swedish blue-liner tried to battle through the injury and came back to log 10:21 of ice time, but he wasn't on the bench for the third period. Klingberg's status for Saturday's clash with Boston is up in the air, but it looks like it won't be a long-term issue. The club is going to re-evaluate him on Friday. Starting goaltender Braden Holtby also left early on Thursday, but it was only due to dehydration.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
