Toronto Maple Leafs winger William Nylander had a two-point night against Ottawa in Thursday's 3-2 loss, registering a goal and an assist on the power play. He helped Jason Spezza on the board early in the third period before the former Senators captain returned to favor a few minutes later. Toronto made a big push for a comeback in the final frame, registering 25 shots, but they couldn't extend the game. Nylander recorded six efforts on goal, tying the game-high with Michael Bunting and Mitchell Marner.
