Lance McCullers Jr. Exits Game 4 With Forearm Discomfort
Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) was removed from Game 4 of the ALDS against the Chicago White Sox after four strong innings. After the game, Astros manager Dusty Baker told the media that McCullers felt right forearm discomfort, prompting his removal. McCullers was pitching well before he was pulled. He threw 73 pitches over four innings and allowed five hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out five. We don't know how severe the injury is at this point, but we should know more soon.
