Jason Kokrak just could not make shots, particularly with his putter, when it counted at The Northern Trust. It was the second week in a row where he missed the cut. Last week, it was holes 10 and 11 in Round 2 that proved to be his downfall. He double-bogeyed each one. Kokrak never truly recovered on the way to getting the weekend off. At least at the BMW Championship, the American golfer has a chance to right his wrongs on Saturday and Sunday. Normally, he makes 4.24 birdies per round and putts ninth overall on the tour. If he makes a few early and avoids erratic iron play, Kokrak should be able to drive himself into position with easier approaches and birdie attempts. If not, it could be another long week.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
