Carlos Carrasco Sharp In Season Debut
New York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco was strong in his first outing of the season Friday, allowing just one run on three hits and a walk in four innings against the Cincinnati Reds. The lone run came on his first pitch of the game as he was blitzed by Jonathan India for a home run. Carrasco threw 58 pitches, slightly more than planned, and figures to throw 70 or so in his next outing. He should be fully built up by mid-August, making him an excellent fantasy reinforcement for managers who have stashed him.
