WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (6/12/21): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 6/12/21. Expert WNBA DFS advice, sleepers & player recommendations for DraftKings and FanDuel.

We're back! After missing Friday's slate because I wasn't feeling well, I've got some WNBA DFS suggestions for Saturday's two games.

This is an early slate, so no dilly-dallying here -- let's get right into the games.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/12/21. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Sky @ Fever

When: 1:00 PM ET

Watch: Amazon Prime

Players of Interest: Oh hey, a rematch of a game we just saw! And considering that game was our only real look at how this Sky team looks at almost full-strength since the season opener, let's go ahead and rely heavily on how things went in that game.

For Chicago, that was our first glimpse at Candace Parker being back, but the former MVP played just 18 minutes, going 1-for-9 from the floor. She should play more in this one as she gets healthier though, and I don't see a way the Fever really stop her.

If you're looking for consistent scoring on this team, you've got to look at Kahleah Copper, especially since Diamond DeShields left last game with a small injury. She's expected to play today I believe, but don't be shocked if the team plays it safe with her.

Stefanie Dolson is a fun pick after scoring 12 points and grabbing seven boards last game. Also at forward, Azura Stevens seems to be coming into her own. Good mid-range value plays. And, of course, you can never go wrong with the assist-upside of Courtney Vandersloot, though I do worry Parker takes away some of her upside.

For the Fever, this is a game where I want to target the perimeter players because of the matchup, so Kelsey Mitchell and Tiffany Mitchell, come on down! I know both are a little inconsistent, but I still want to find a way to play them.

Weirdly, Teaira McCowan didn't start last game, with the Fever looking like they were playing the matchups. But even in just 17 minutes, she had nine points, seven rebounds, and two blocks, so McCowan can still contribute to your fantasy effort without a ton of minutes.

A fun pick is Jantel Lavender, who got the start inside for McCowan and scored 14 points and grabbed seven boards. Lavender matches up better with the speed and versatility in this Sky frontcourt, so I'd expect to see the Fever use her heavily once again. Might be one of my favorite plays of this slate.

WNBA DFS Game Breakdown: Sparks @ Lynx

When: 8:00 PM ET

Watch: WNBA League Pass

Players of Interest: When we last saw the Sparks, they were getting beat soundly on Thursday by the Mystics. With both Ogwumikes out, it can be a struggle for this team to generate much of anything.

But that does leave some solid value on the board for L.A. Te'a Cooper will never win any awards for her efficiency, but she's a solid bet to lead this team in field goal attempts every night, giving her some solid upside if she can get a few more shots than usual to drop.

Erica Wheeler has been playing well. Even though she made just three shots last game, her assists and rebounds salvaged her fantasy line a little, and she's capable of putting up 30-plus fantasy points in a game. She's the most consistent option you have on this team.

Nia Coffey struggled to score last game, going 1-for-8, but has been a key part of this team. She'll continue to start at the four and has solid upside, as does Amanda Zahui B., the current starting center. I hate this matchup for Zahui B., but I'll play a little of her.

As deep value, maybe look at rookie Arella Guirantes? Played 17 minutes last game, scoring eight points. Could we see her minutes continue to rise?

As for Minnesota, this is a team that's easier to figure out.

Sylvia Fowles will feast against this Sparks frontcourt. Of course, the Lynx aren't getting her the ball a ton, so there's still a lower ceiling than there should be, but Fowles is getting you 30-plus fantasy points.

Speaking of someone who'll score a lot, Napheesa Collier might be the absolute No. 1 play on this slate. She has a pair of 40-plus point fantasy nights over the past three games and won't face a ton of pressure on Saturday. Collier is going to anchor a lot of my lines.

Aerial Powers is back. Could be a risky play as they work her back into the lineup, but she's one of this team's best offensive players and if she returns from her hamstring injury to see a full workload, ton of value.

Kayla McBride had a bad game against Washington, going 1-for-6 from the floor, but she's usually a consistent source of three-pointers for this team. The return of Powers could dampen that a bit, but I still like McBride.

In other news, Layshia Clarendon was released this week because the hardship contract she was on was no longer valid. It sounds like the team might be looking for another hardship waiver to bring them back on Sunday. Still, the game is a few hours away and there's been no news on that front, so maybe play it safe and keep him out of your lineups.
