Ryan Preece enjoyed a nice run at Talladega last week as he led nine laps and finished in 14th. The +15 place differential caught the eye of a few in the DFS world. However, this week he starts 12th at Kansas. Three of his first four races on the 1.5-mile track have ended poorly for the JTG Daugherty Racing driver. That included one DNF (crash) and two finishes multiple laps down. Preece is not expected to stay up near the front for long in this week's Buschy McBusch 400.
