Colorado Avalanche's defenseman Cale Makar assisted on three goals in Monday's 5-2 win over Anaheim, becoming the fastest blueliner in NHL history to register five regular-season games with three-plus assists. He needed 79 games to do it. Makar has been very productive throughout the season, going pointless in back-to-back outings just once and averaging exactly a point per game through 22 contests. He's fired off 49 shots and delivered 25 hits while registering a nice plus-12 rating. Makar has quickly developed into an elite defenseman and the Coyotes will get to see him up close next on Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
