Chris Wassel provides his CBB DFS prop picks for Monkey Knife Fight and NCAA college basketball games on Friday, March 12th. Make your DFS picks with his advice.
With the college basketball slate featuring some afternoon games of note, naturally, the Monkey Knife Fight column again takes a look at two more Friday evening games.
With the evening games, there are a few that were just destined to get some coverage. The Conference Tournament games are ones to get prepped and get ready for when March Madness truly hits next Thursday.

Today's err this evening's featured matchups are Seton Hall vs. Georgetown and Illinois vs, Rutgers.

Seton Hall vs. Georgetown
Sandro Mamukelashvili (Seton Hall) MORE 16.5 Points - Jahvon Blair (Georgetown) LESS 15.5 Points
This will come across as a bullish play but could work. Now, Mamukelashvili went off for 22 points in the last meeting versus Georgetown but more importantly, got close looks at the basket. It is vital that the power forward from Georgia (the country) gets off to a good start and avoids foul trouble. That occurred in both games versus the Hoyas and always is a concern no matter how rare it has occurred this year. With the forward's season average up to nearly 18 points a game and Seton Hall's pace yesterday, that is a reasonable ask for this evening.
The Hoyas did rely on Blair too much against Villanova and that almost came back to bite them late. Blair tired down the stretch a bit and it is never easy to take down a top team even if Villanova was short-handed. That being said, Seton Hall presents as a tougher matchup and has revenge on its mind for the two minor "upsets". Both teams must win to keep their NCAA tournament hopes aside. It is just that the Senior guard disappears offensively too often from a points standpoint to rely on him. The LESS is a bet that can be made with some confidence as Georgetown should see other scorers pick up the slack.

Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois) MORE 18.5 Points - Jacob Young (Rutgers) LESS 15.5 Points
Unlike the Indiana game, Rutgers will find some more difficulty against Illinois and their attacking style. This presents as the toughest prop of the week so far because the last time these two teams faced off was almost three months ago. That was a 91-88 outcome with points galore. Keep in mind, that game was played at the RAC (Rutgers Athletic Center). This clash is at the Big-10 Tournament.
The problem here is that Rutgers has nothing to lose. They are in the tournament no matter what while Illinois is playing for seeding. If they win the Big-Ten tournament, they will get a one seed may be in the Midwest. Most conference games have been close so free-throw shooting could factor in these props too.
The good thing for the second half of this prop is Jacob Young, aside from the Minnesota game has been quiet. Yesterday's prop was razor-thin of a margin. This expects to be no different. That is part of what makes Monkey Knife Fight so challenging and yet so fun. Young from Rutgers looked like he would hit MORE and yet just missed. It came down to the last minute literally. This game features much of the same as Dosunmu should have enough opportunities to attack the basket. The guard expects to be more of a triple threat here than Young and likely hits the more albeit barely.
