DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Lineup Picks for 2/26/21 - Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy EuroLeague basketball plays and sleepers for 2/26/21. His EuroLeague DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

Round 26 finishes off with the smaller four game slate this week. Yesterday I fell victim to Milan rotations with Kevin Punter being a total dud. Mike James busted too, but he was almost 50% owned. I could have made it through that. So is the way it goes in EuroLeague. We're back like Pau Gasol today! In fact, Pao will make his first appearance for Barcelona in 20 years as he goes back to the place where it all began to try and become only the second basketball player in history to win a NBA Championship, a FIBA World Championship, an Olympic medal, and a EuroLeague Championship. Pau is only missing the EuroLeague crown. That's what he came back for. However, I wouldn't expect him to see big minutes just yet.

Guard is thinned out a lot today because of injuries to Jayson Granger, Nihad Nedovic, Langston Hall, and Quino Colom. Red Star is also short three forwards, so we can find some value there as well. We're going to need it with three healthy guards still priced in five figures. Even Pau Gasol, who hasn't played professionally since March of 2019, is priced up at $5,900. There is value out there though. We'll find it. I'm like a pig hunting for truffles.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy EuroLeague lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/26/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard, forward, and center, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Guards

Jordan Loyd, Belgrade ($9,200)

I'm fine fading all of the high-priced guards and Loyd is a big reason why. He erupted for an absurd 49 DraftKings points in the first game against Baskonia. Now with a depleted frontcourt, Loyd should have to take on even more of a scoring load. There's always a chance that Red Star pulls a Khimki and just gets blown off the court, but I don't see that happening. Belgrade's bench is much better than Khimki's. That leaves us some nice value and hopefully a nice boost in production to the biggest playmaker on the team.

Luca Vildoza, Vitoria-Gasteiz ($8,500)

Pierria Henry is the guy that handles the ball most of the time for Baskonia. That leaves Vildoza to do what he does best: score. He's an efficient shooter and a good rebounder from the perimeter. His floor is as good as anyone's. Vildoza is a well-rounded player, but he doesn't have that 40 DraftKings point upside. His ceiling is 30, which makes him more of a cash play. Still, sometimes it's nice to have a piece in your lineup that you can count on no matter what. Vildoza is that guy.

Maodo Lo, Berlin ($7,800)

Lo  was the guy that carried the load on the perimeter with Jayson Granger out last round. Peyton Siva is going to help out a little more this week, but I still see Lo going high on his multiplier here. He should still clear 4x value with ease and could flirt with 5x against an Athens team that has had trouble defending guards all season. The price difference between Lo and Siva isn't enough to make me drop to Siva in any format, but I have no issues running them together if you need to save money for forwards.

Bonus pick: Leandro Bolmaro, Barcelona ($4,200)

This bonus pick comes with a caveat. Bolmaro should only be used if Leo Westermann is out again. Bolmaro was a first-round pick in the NBA Draft last year and may make the jump stateside over the summer. He's not a part of the future plans of Barcelona, but he put up some big numbers with Westermann out last round. In the two games in which Bolmaro has played at least 18 minutes, he has cleared 7x value in both.

Also consider: Shane Larkin, Efes ($11,000); Howard Sant-Roos, Athens ($8,200); Eleftherios Bochoridis, Athens ($6,500)

DraftKings EuroLeague DFS Forwards

Nikola Mirotic, Barcelona ($9,500)

Okay, I'll bite. Mirotic hasn't been under five figures since coming back to Europe from the NBA. It's a tough matchup, at least on paper. Lyon has allowed the least fantasy points to forwards in the entire league this year. However, Mirotic still put up a strong 29.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting. Last round Mirotic only played 15 minutes in a blowout win over Piraeus, but he still put up 18.5 DraftKings points. Assuming he plays his normal 30 minutes in this one, we should see him provide a solid return for the price. And we all know what the ceiling is, even if we haven't seen it in months. It's enough to keep us coming back.

Ben Lammers, Berlin ($8,600)

I also like Luke Sikma here, but we can do a lot with the $800 savings that rostering Lammers instead gives us. Both are in great spots, but Lammers has been matching the output of Sikma in most games for the last month. Sikma has the higher ceiling, and if you have the money, go for it. I just like Lammers because we can easily pair him with one or two elite options whereas it's hard to do that with Sikma's price tag. One or both of them are going to have a nice game against Athens. We could even see Simone Fontecchio continue his hot streak here. In fact, I'd play Fontecchio over Sikma right now with Niels Giffey still out. Lammers is still the best overall option though.

Dejan Davidovac, Belgrade ($6,300)

Johnny O'bryant, Landry Nnoko, and Duop Reath are all out for Red Star in this game. That leaves Davidovac as the most accomplished frontcourt option. Marko Jagodic-Kuridza and Ognjen Kuzmic haven't always done much with their minutes. Davidovac is by far the best bet and a huge bargain for Red Star here. For those of you that want even more value, Marko Simonovic performed very well in Round 25 with O'bryant and Nnoko out. Now that Reath isn't stealing minutes either, I wouldn't be shocked to see Simonovic in the starting five. If he is, lock him in right beside Davidovac.

Also consider: Jan Vesely, Fenerbahce ($10,200); Georgios Papagiannis, Athens ($9,300); Kyle O'Quinn, Fenerbahce ($5,300)
