Jon Rahm, the pre-tournament betting favorite, was forced to remove his name from the field on Monday morning. Rahm cited an injury that he suffered in the gym last Friday as the reason for his departure from the event and will be replaced by big-hitting American Brandon Hagy. The 398th-ranked player in the world has struggled to find much success on tour over the past few months, making just two of his previous eight cuts.
