Cole Kmet Catches Three Passes In Defeat
4 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet caught only three passes for 16 yards in the team's 21-9 loss to the Saints in the wild-card round. The rookie has carved out a role for himself in the play-action passing game, but the Bears stalled early and often on offense in this game. Kmet has seen his playing time increase over the final two months of the season and has shown flashes of his potential, albeit in a smaller role. The talented tight end will garner fantasy sleeper appeal heading into next season as a TE2 with upside, especially if the Bears move on from veteran Jimmy Graham. But Chicago's questions at QB will also make fantasy managers temper expectations moving forward.
