Denny McCarthy will be a volatile DFS player this week based on his play to start the 2021 season. He has finishes of T4 and T6 but has also missed a cut and finished 57th. He has three career appearances at Sea Island and has improved in each of the last two. McCarthy missed the cut in his first appearance but finished 46th in 2019 and eighth in 2020. He has been solid with his wedges this season, ranking 14th in approaches from 50-75 yards and sixth in approaches from 75-100 yards. His short game has also been solid, ranking 40th in scrambling and 44th in strokes gained putting. He has not been consistent from week to week but could have good value at a price of just $7,700.--Connor Wege
