The Carolina Hurricanes evened the Stanley Cup Round 1 series against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night with a 3-2 victory. Dougie Hamilton, who recently completed his rehab from a broken leg, scored the winning goal midway through the third period. Teuvo Teravainen and Andrei Svechnikov also scored goals for the Hurricanes. James Reimer replaced Petr Mrazek in net for Game 2 and was excellent. He stopped 33 of 35 shots against him. The team was clearly frustrated as a number of questionable carried over from the first game.
