Despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five playoff series against the New York Rangers, the Carolina Hurricanes are making a change in net for Game 3. James Reimer will get the call for Carolina after fellow goalie Petr Mrazek held the Rangers to just three goals in the first two contests. In 25 games during the regular season, Reimer posted a 2.66 GAA and .914 SV%. Meanwhile, Mrazek made 40 appearances during the 2019-20 regular season with a 2.69 GAA and .905 SV% so the team likely isn’t losing much in net with the switch. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
