Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks for 4/14/20 - DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings, FanDuel DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 4/14/20. He analyzes CS: GO slates and top targets for ESports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks. If you are reading this, you must be missing sports quite a bit but have found solace in DFS ESports. For those that are new to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS set up, don't worry I got your back!

If you need a quick refresher, here you go. You have teams of five and the objective is to plant a bomb while the other team defends. It’s a pretty simple objective so let’s not try to over-analyze things! There are 30 rounds per match (the first to win 16 rounds takes the match) and they play best two out of three. There is no respawning so once you die, you are gone till the next round so kill-to-death ratios are very important to look at it when crafting your roster.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis and picks for ESports DFS contests on DraftKings Tuesday, April 14th, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @rdr1634 as I am happy to engage with readers and try to answer your questions!

Flashpoint League - 1:00 PM

  • MAD vs. MIBR
  • HAVU vs. Cloud9

DFS Captain Considerations

Bubskji has now scored 100+ DK points in four straight games while having seven straight games where he went for 40+ kills. He has a 1.35 K/D ratio, a 54% headshot percentage, and a .82 kill per round rating. He is one of the most dominant players in the Flashpoint League and will be one of the highest owned players on the slate for good reason.

He should be considered for the captain role in all formats and if you are playing tournaments, you’ll need to differentiate from the rest of the field since he could be the highest owned captain option.

sLowi struggled against MIBR but found his groove against Gen. G going for 77 kills and 102. DK points. He has a 1.27 K/D ratio over the last month and also has a 53.1% headshot percentage over that same time frame.

He has produced over 100+ DK points in four out of his last five games and in his most recent game against Cloud9, he went for 52 kills while scoring 109 DK points. He offers some salary relief in the captain spot and would be my favorite choice for the captain spot.

ZOREE is another HAVU player that warrants captain consideration based on his recent form and prior performance against Cloud9. He has gone for 100+ DK points in three out of his last five games and is coming off of a 95 point performance against Gen. G.

Zoree has a 1.33 K/D ratio over the last month and has a 1.64 K/D ratio against Cloud9 over the last six months. He is a tad pricier than sLowi is so he might actually draw a little lower ownership if people are looking for the extra salary savings for their lineups.

DFS Value Plays

AcoR is a riskier value play but he has the ability to hit value in this matchup. He is only $5,800 which is good value if you want cheap MAD exposure. He has 70 point upside as he has hit that range several times this season.

While MIBR will present to be a tougher opponent, they will have their hands full with this MAD squad so acoR could go overlooked. AcoR has a 1.20 K/D ratio over the last month so for someone with that great of a ratio, his price point is too good to pass up.

Doto also is a risky value play but he is an ideal candidate for tournament lineups. Yes, he has struggled as of late but is in a favorable matchup that allows for some salary relief and also gets you exposure to one of the best teams on the slate.

Doto actually has a 1.11 K/D ratio over the last month even though his DK point total would make you think otherwise. He is averaging 57.5 DK points per game so with that being said, he is certainly viable, especially in tournaments!

Top DFS Stacks

MAD is back on the slate and with the way that they have been playing recently, it is hard to go against them. They went 6-1 in stage-play and are coming off of a win against Cloud9 in the upper semi-final round.

MIBR is another top team in the Flashpoint League as they also went 6-1 in stage play while rattling off two wins in the Flashpoint League playoffs so both are entering this matchup in good form. Over their last 17 matches, MAD has won in dominant fashion by winning 2-0 in 52% of matches.

As a team, MAD has a 1.14 K/D ratio and are riding a five-game winning streak into their match against MIBR. Bubskji and Sjuush are the two catalysts for this MAD squad and must be considered for any MAD stack. AcoR looks to be a solid stacking partner as he has produced a 1.21 K/D ratio over the past month.

HAVU is rolling right now winning five out of their last six games and has a win rate of 67.4% over the last three months. They will play Cloud9 whom they already have a victory against earlier this season. In that game, HAVU won 2-0 with their first game going into overtime.

A HAVU stack will be very chalky on this slate and it will be very tough to fade them so you will need to get creative and different with your roster construction. ZOREE and sLowi are tough to keep off any HAVU stack so finding the third member will be the way to differentiate from the field.
