The Detroit Lions and Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay continue to discuss a long-term contract extension, but the expectation remains that he could re-enter the trade market if no deal is reached in the coming weeks, according to a source. Slay is eligible to become a free agent after next season. The 29-year-old totaled 46 tackles (36 solo), one fumble recovery and two interceptions in 14 games for Detroit in 2019. When healthy, he was the team's best cover corner. If the Lions can't work out an extension with him, he should have no shortage of teams looking to deal for him this offseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
