Russell Westbrook To Play Friday, Miss Saturday’s Contest
Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook will take the floor Friday against the Indiana Pacers, but will sit out the second leg of the team’s back-to-back Saturday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves due to rest purposes. Westbrook similarly sat out the second game of a back-to-back earlier in November, with the team attempting to limit the regular-season load of the 31-year-old. Without Westbrook in the mix, expect James Harden to firmly control Saturday’s contest, particularly against a Minnesota defensive unit that has allowed 116.2 points per game entering play Friday and will also be playing for their second consecutive night.
