Tampa Bay Lightning center Brayden Point inked a new three-year, $20.25 million contract on Monday. The 23-year-old, who was a restricted free agent, will carry a $6.75 million cap hit per year. Point is coming off a break-out 92-point (41 goals, 51 assists) season and has emerged into a legitimate top-25 fantasy asset playing on an ultra-dangerous Lightning team. Despite centering the team's second line, Point is a weapon on his team's top power-play unit, as displayed by his 35 points on the man advantage last season. With his new deal, the Calgary native's average draft position (46.8 in Yahoo! leagues) should climb quite quickly.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
