Carlos Carrasco Making Progress In Recovery

Cleveland Indians starter Carlos Carrasco (cancer) will throw to hitters on Friday, and then be re-evaluated this weekend to determine the next step on his recovery timetable. The 32-year-old has not pitched since late May but is progressing through his rehab after completing a pair of bullpen sessions on back-to-back days with no issues. It is unknown if Carrasco will be able to return to the team in 2019, but he is worth stashing in formats with multiple IL slots. Carrasco recorded a 4-6 record to go along with a 4.98 ERA prior to landing on the 60-day injured list.
