Can we put to bed the rumors of Rory McIlroy not being able to close now? The Irishman fired a nine-under 61 during the final round of the RBC Canadian Open to capture his 16th career PGA Tour victory. After winning by seven shots, McIlroy has now impressively won 25 percent of his titles by seven or more strokes, but there are reasons to be concerned about him entering Pebble Beach. The 30-year-old has never won any of his 25 worldwide titles with a winning score of less than 12-under par, and this year's U.S. Open could turn into a challenging task. We wouldn't discount the number three player in the world completely, but we would do a hard double-take if you expect Pebble Beach to show its teeth this weekend. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
