Minnesota Wild center Eric Staal registered a power-play goal in Saturday's 5-1 road loss against the Carolina Hurricanes, playing against his brother Jordan and his former team. Staal fired a shot through the wickets of goaltender Petr Mrazek, hitting him in the inner thigh area and trickling over the line for the only Minnesota marker. It was a much better performance than his first showing against the Canes this season when he went scoreless with a minus-two rating in a 5-4 overtime loss back on Oct. 13 in St. Paul. Next up for the Wild is a home game with the Nashville Predators on Monday night.--Daniel Dobish
