Russell Westbrook Posts 10th Triple-Double In Farewell To 2018 Game
Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook posted 32 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals in Monday's win over the Mavericks. The 30-year-old was 13-for-24 from the field and 6-for-6 from the free throw line. It was a nice bounce-back game for his dud of a performance against the Mavs on Sunday, where he had nine points (4-for-22 shooting), eight assists, six steals and five turnovers. The 11th-year pro now has 10 triple-doubles and 20 double-doubles this season. Westbrook, who has struggled from long range all season (24.1 percent), has missed his last nine three-point attempts. The UCLA product will look to break out of his shooting slump (38.6 percent in December) in a good matchup against the Lakers on Wednesday.
