Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen (groin) will not play in Saturday's game against the New York Islanders so Garret Sparks will make his third consecutive start. The team also recalled goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo from Toronto of the AHL to serve as the backup to Sparks. The latter started last night in Columbus and backstopped a victory, allowing just two goals on 29 shots to run his record to 6-1-1 with a 2.88 goals-against average and .910 save percentage. It's unclear how much longer Andersen will be on the mend, but Sparks will be the primary starter while the Dane is on the shelf.--Daniel Dobish
