Montreal Canadiens center Phillip Danault posted his first-career hat trick in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win against the Vegas Golden Knights on the road. He finished with six shots on goal and a hit over 19:23 of ice time while also winning 12 of his 23 (52.2 percent) faceoff attempts. The hattie came against backstop Marc-Andre Fleury, who made his NHL debut when Danault was 10 years old. The 25-year-old pivot entered the day with a total of just two goals this season. As such, he still warrants fantasy consideration only in the deepest of pools despite the big afternoon.--Daniel Dobish
