Melvin Gordon Fighting An Uphill Battle
Melvin Gordon (knee) to be active on Thursday night against the Chiefs, although the team won't make a final determination until pregame warmups. Gordon's injury was a two- to four-week ailment and it's been 18 days since he suffered the injury on Nov. 25. Another bad sign is the fact the Bolts elevated Troymaine Pope from the practice squad to the active roster on Thursday, giving the team more depth behind Justin Jackson and Detrez Newsome. Jackson will be a strong RB2 play if Gordon is inactive for the third straight game.
