Isaiah Likely Taking it "Day by Day," Week 3 Status Unclear
Isaiah Likely (foot) said he's "taking it day by day" when asked by reporters about his chances to play in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football. Likely had foot surgery in August and missed Baltimore's first two games of the season, but he has returned to practice in a limited capacity. The 25-year-old had 42 catches for 477 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games in 2024. Upon his return, he's a candidate to steal playing time away from Ravens veteran tight end Mark Andrews. Andrews has just two catches so far in 2025, so Likely could even take over as Baltimore's TE1 at some point in 2025. Neither player profiles as a must-start fantasy tight end when sharing the field, but Likely may have the higher upside at this point in their respective careers. UPDATE: Likely remained limited in Friday's practice.
