St. Louis Blues goaltender Jake Allen allowed just one goal on 26 shots in Monday's 2-0 setback against the Los Angeles Kings. It was the last straw, as management decided to sack bench boss Mike Yeo after the poor showing right in the middle of his third season with the organization. Allen was pretty sharp, only beaten by L.A. rookie Matt Luff for his first NHL marker. The other goal allowed was an empty-netter by veteran Anze Kopitar. Allen will hope for more offensive support Wednesday in Nashville.--Daniel Dobish
