New Jersey Devils forward Joey Anderson scored his first career NHL goal in a 3-0 win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday. Skating in his eighth career game, the 20-year-old notched his first tally with a quick wrist shot that beat Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott in the opening frame of the contest. A former third-round draft pick, Anderson had an impressive two-year career at the University of Minnesota-Duluth (64 points in 75 games) before turning pro this season. The Minnesota native could prove to be an interesting add in keeper fantasy leagues but owners will likely need to see more offensive production prior to picking him up. Anderson will look to build off his milestone when the Devils take on the Red Wings on Saturday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
