New Jersey Devils defenseman Damon Severson recorded a goal and added an assist in a 4-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday. After posting just one assist in a six-game span, Severson now has put up consecutive multi-point nights and has four points (one goal, three assists) in his past two games. The 24-year-old blueliner now has 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in 16 games on the season and seems primed to eclipse his previous career-high of 31 points set back in 2016-2017. Severson doesn't skate on his team's top power-play unit but has fit in nicely in a top-four role at even-strength. Considering the former second-round draft pick produces in peripheral categories (28 shots, 28 hits, eight penalty minutes), Severson could be worth an add in deeper fantasy formats.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
