Chicago Cubs outfielder Albert Almora had three hits in six at-bats Monday night. Almora has improved a ton this season. He currently is hitting .323. Almora doesn't have a ton of pop in his bat. That being said, he has lowered his strikeout rate while raising his walk rate in each of the first three months of the season. It's still too early to tell how these numbers will change in June. Almora keeps improving his .374 on-base percentage. That means manager Joe Maddon will keep putting him in the lineup.--Blake Sullivan
