Rich Hill Activated From DL, Brock Stewart Sent Down

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Rich Hill (finger) has been activated from the disabled list and pitcher Brock Stewart has been sent down to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Hill will start Tuesday against the Diamondbacks in L.A. Hill has been dealing with a cracked fingernail over the last few weeks and often has finger issues due to his high-spin curveball. He hasn't really done well this year, as his 6.00 ERA and 1.60 WHIP show. He does have 16 strikeouts in 15 innings, however. He's entering the sunset of his career, and it shows. Injuries have prevented him from delivering a full year of stats for a few seasons now, and that makes him less and less usable with bench spots being in such demand. Chase this hot potato at your own risk.
