Not all that long ago, Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson was on fire in his new home north of the border. Well, things have changed. Granderson finished with another hitless effort in a 4-0 loss to the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday, his third straight game of the sort. With Wednesday’s failure, Granderson has now picked up only one hit in his last six games. His slash line for the year is still a very good .275/.419/.493, but with the rate he’s going, you’d have to expect that to continue to sink. Granderson was never expected to be a long-term consistent fantasy contributor this year, but he’ll still be worth an add when he has his hot streaks. For now, though, it looks like the early-season ride is over.--John Smith
