DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/21/18): NBA DFS Lineups

The playoffs are here and we are looking at one of the best times of the year for the NBA. We have a four-game slate where we have one team trying to close out a series, with the other three series still up for grabs.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/21/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. Give me a follow on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Good luck!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Damian Lillard - PG, POR @ NO (DK - $8,400)

This is it for the Trail Blazers, as they are down 0-3 to the Pelicans. One of the more disappointing performances so far in the playoffs, so they will need the best effort from their star player. I guess you could say it's Dame Time now or never. Lillard has put up two low production games in this series, and his whole team is feeling the effects. He has scored under 30 DraftKings points in two of the three games this series. When push comes to shove, he NEEDS to play better, and he is simply too cheap. This is a player who was priced in the upper $9K range earlier in the year, and now that he is sub $8.5K, this is the time to take advantage of it. He still has a 50+ point ceiling, he just needs to show it.

Dwayne Wade - SG, MIA vs PHI (DK - $5,100)

Wade has put up 20 or more DraftKings points in each of the three games in this series, which was over one fantasy point per minute in two of those games. We know what we are getting from Wade, which is the same it has been all year, high highs, and otherwise very unproductive. His minutes are mostly consistent this series, so hopefully, we can rely on the old saying of minutes equals money. If he can see at least 25 minutes a game, he will likely be able to produce over fantasy point per minute, considering this is a pace up spot for the Heat.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Robert Covington - SF, PHI @ MIA (DK - $5,500)

Covington has put up at or above one fantasy point per minute in two of the three games so far in this series. He can often go overlooked on the 76ers since there are much bigger names on the offense, who can soak up a lot of the usage and production. We are dealing with a small slate every night in the playoffs, so taking even the smallest amount of savings can be big. He isn't very expensive and has bee productive in the time he sees. This game has an over-under set 215 points, and if we are set for what we saw in the first three games, it will be back and forth with plenty of scoring.

Nikola Mirotic - PF, NO vs PHI (DK - $7,500)

What a series this has been for Miotic. He has scored 49 or more DraftKings points in two of these three games and put 32 DK points in the other game. He has put up one double in this series, with the two other games falling just two rebounds short of two more. He has plenty of upside due to his ability to hit the three ball, so if he gets hot, he can make a great tournament play, due to his pure point upside.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, HOU @ MIN (DK - $7,200)

Capela has been consistent and shown some nice upside in this series, making him a good play in any format tonight. He has 31 and 50 DraftKings points so far, with one double-double so far. The matchup for him against Towns isn't the worst in the world, the Timberwolves did give up 51 DK points per game to centers this season, which Capela has shown he can take advantage of. There is no reason he shouldn't be able to match that 30 point production again to tonight, with the potential for more, as this game has an over-under set at 214 points.
